This Cityscribe feature ("Feature") allows you ("You" or "Your") to upload and/or view photographs (each, a "Submission"). Your use of this Feature must comply with Cityscribe's Terms of Use and these Photos Terms (collectively, the "Terms"), which may be updated from time to time. You are responsible for periodically reviewing these Terms for any updates.
Requirements for Use of this Feature
Your Conduct
• You understand that Your Submission is Your sole responsibility. Cityscribe is not responsible for the content of any Submission you upload, view, post, transmit, store, or otherwise make available through Your use of the Feature.
• Your Submission must not include any content that You do not have permission, right, or license to use. You agree not to upload any illegal, defamatory, abusive, obscene, or otherwise objectionable content.
Privacy Settings
• You may designate each Submission as Public or Private at any time.
• Public Submissions may be viewed by all Cityscribe users and appear on place pages and other users' scripts.
• Private Submissions are visible only on Your own scripts and to You.
Deletion of Your Photos
• You may delete any Submission at any time. Upon deletion, the Submission will be removed from all Cityscribe pages and feeds.
• Deleted Submissions may be retained briefly for archival and backup purposes, but will no longer be publicly or privately accessible.
Account Deletion
Deleting Your Cityscribe account will permanently remove all Submissions associated with Your account. This action is irreversible once completed.
Visibility of Submissions
• Both Public and Private Submissions will continue to appear on Your own scripts.
• Only Public Submissions will appear on place pages or in other users' scripts.
Photo Credit Settings
• You may choose whether to be credited for each Submission ("Photo Credit On") or to have the credit withheld ("Photo Credit Off"), at any time.
• If Photo Credit On is selected, Cityscribe will display Your chosen credit name alongside the Submission. If Photo Credit Off is selected, no author credit will be displayed.
Changes to Your Content
In order to display Your Submission, Cityscribe may resize, compress, or otherwise modify it to comply with technical or performance requirements.
License from You
• You retain ownership of Your Submission.
• By submitting or posting a Submission, You grant Cityscribe and its partners a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to use, host, store, reproduce, modify, distribute, publicly display, and otherwise exploit the Submission in connection with Cityscribe (including marketing and promotional materials).
• This license continues until You delete the Submission or Your account is deleted.
Moderation and Removal
• Cityscribe reserves the right to review, refuse, remove, or disable any Submission at any time and for any reason, without prior notice.
• If You encounter a Submission that violates these Terms, please report it via the in-app Report feature.
Disclaimers
• Cityscribe does not endorse any Submission provided by users and makes no guarantees regarding its accuracy, quality, or legality.
• Your use of the Feature and any Submission is entirely at Your own risk.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Cityscribe, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to Your breach of these Terms or Your Submissions.
Copyright Infringement Claims
If You believe any Submission infringes Your copyright, please contact Cityscribe's designated agent at support@cityscribe.com with a detailed notification in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act.
Age Requirement
This Feature is available only to individuals aged 13 years or older (or the equivalent minimum age in Your jurisdiction).
